Welcome to tropiclightningassociation.com, the website of the 25th Infantry Division Association ("TLA," "we," "us"). By using this site you agree to these terms.

The Memorial Content on This Site

The rosters, tributes, photographs, and histories on this site exist to honor those who served with the 25th Infantry Division. We work to keep this information accurate and respectful. If you find an error in a roster or believe content should be corrected or removed, please contact us — corrections from family members and fellow veterans are always welcome.

Content You Submit

When you submit a tribute, a fallen service member's name, a story, or a photograph, you keep ownership of what you submit, and you grant TLA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, and preserve that content as part of the Association's memorial, archival, and publication activities. You confirm that you have the right to share what you submit, including any photographs.

All submissions are reviewed before publication. We may decline or remove any submission, and we honor removal requests from immediate family of a memorialized service member wherever possible.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to submit content that is false, defamatory, or disrespectful to the fallen; not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site; and not to use the site to harvest personal information about others.

Donations and Purchases

Donations and membership dues are processed by Zeffy, and merchandise purchases by Shopify, under their own terms of service. Donations are voluntary contributions to the Association. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.

Copyright and Takedown Requests

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice through our contact page including: the work you claim is infringed, the URL where it appears here, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized. We will review and respond promptly.

Third-Party Links and Embeds

This site links to and embeds content from third parties (YouTube, Zeffy, Shopify, veteran service resources). Those services operate under their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content.

Disclaimer

This site and its content are provided "as is." Historical information is compiled in good faith from official and community sources and may contain errors; it is provided for remembrance and education, not as official government records. TLA is not liable for damages arising from use of this site to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
